This is a compilation of scientific information that is found scattered at various sources and which has been evaluated by a recognized authority in the field of medicinal plants viz. Central Council for Research in Ayurveda and Siddha, New Delhi, founded under the Department of Indian Systems of Medicine under the Ministry of Health, India. It is one of the premier organizations doing original research in all aspects of medicinal plants. Volume I and Volume II contain 40 monographs each, Volume III, IV and V contain 30 monographs each.
